As some of you know, Jan Ayers and I recently put on a weekend conference on the Mysteries of the Knights Templar in Garway, Herefordshire. This was the first time that we have created one of these events and we didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be very magical. There was a really lovely atmosphere and the event became a mini-community of awake and like-minded people.
I experienced something similar at the Shine Seminars in Westbury-on-Severn a couple of years ago, where we were all camping and eating together for a weekend while listening to some amazing speakers. At the Knights Templar conference, we also had our on-site cafe so that people could eat and talk together in the breaks and this does seem to have its own sort of alchemy.
I say that this type of awake community is like the alternative communities that will form (are forming) as humanity goes forward for the people who do not want to take the transhumanism route. Obviously, any community of human beings will have its challenges but, when you are with people who are conscious and coming from a place of integrity, that will be solved in a harmonious way.
These little tastes of living in a community like this have given me so much hope and excitement for the future. Of course, there are challenging times ahead but, if where we are going will feel like this, then it will all be worth it.
By popular demand, the Garway Mysteries of the Knights Templar Weekend Conference will return in October 2026. Jan and I are also looking to put on some one-day conferences around the country between now and then. So watch this space!
